I am proud to have had such a huge impact on the film and the super successful universe of Mia and Me as a production designer.
The set belongs to Lotus Island. The vegetation is transformed into an underwater-like landscape during the film. The individual elements are inspired by Gustav Klimt. Art Nouveau-like decorations, circular patterns on the ground, spirals in the rocks and on the trees. The great thing about the world is that as an artist you are free to choose the colors of the sets, regardless of the elements.
