I am proud to have had such a huge impact on the film and the super successful universe of Mia and Me as a production designer.
The set is part of a large cave system. The pictures on the walls tell us part of the story of the film and were designed by me in the style of Gustav Klimt's Beethoven Frieze. Glowing butterflies are used as a light source. As well as fluorescent water. And the character above the water surface illustrates the incredible size of the cave.
At the end of the production, I had to find a style for the end credits. In this case Motion Graphics was used to create a unique style from the original 2 D concept art that was not used for the film.
